Leeds job posting hints at GTAV PC port

Published at 8:55 PM PST

If a job posting on Rockstar's official website for their Leeds studio is anything to go by, we should be seeing a PC port of Grand Theft Auto V next year. The opening, which just appeared online this week, details the need for a talented graphics programmer to help port Rockstar's latest titles to PC:

"Rockstar Leeds are currently looking for a talented graphics programmer to help bring our latest titles to the PC platform. Working together with the other Rockstar studios, you will be responsible for maintaining the studio’s uncompromising quality bar, delivering the highest quality PC experience possible."

The posting also makes mention of "working with skilled developers on Next Generation games", which appears to be a subtle hint that Rockstar is planning on continuing to release on PC in the future.

As most fans are aware, the PC versions of Grand Theft Auto games tend to be released around 6 months following the console release, so whilst some may be fearful a PC version is not going to happen, we'd personally put money on it following the usual trend. Hopefully this latest posting puts some minds at ease.
