Well it appears all the rumors of the Grand Theft Auto IV DLC being a limited exclusive to the Xbox 360 were true, on March 30th 2010, PlayStation 3 and PC owners of GTA IV will finally catch a break and be able to play the two action-packed episodes which have become just as popular as the original game itself. The Lost and Damned & The Ballard of Gay Tony will make it into the hands of both PlayStation 3 and PC owners in the form of 'Episodes from Liberty City'. Just like the Xbox 360, if you own GTAIV you also have the choice to download each episode individually. You can see the complete announcement from our friends at Rockstar below:

"The much anticipated release of Grand Theft Auto: Episodes from Liberty City for the PC and for PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system is coming this spring – on March 30, 2010. For the first time, PlayStation 3 and PC players will have the opportunity to experience the last two thrilling chapters of the Grand Theft Auto IV saga together on one disc.

The two action packed episodes, The Lost and Damned and The Ballad of Gay Tony, will also be available for download via PlayStation®Network and Games for Windows®-LIVE on March 30, 2010.

In The Ballad of Gay Tony, players explore Liberty City’s high-end nightlife as Luis Lopez, struggling to balance the temptations of money and vice against loyalties to family and friends. The Lost and Damned is a dark trip through Liberty City’s seedy underbelly as outlaw biker, Johnny Klebitz, fights to keep his gang together as a rift in the gang’s leadership threatens to tear the brotherhood apart. Both episodes feature a slew of new vehicles and weapons, and each episode adds new activities including cage fighting, gang wars and BASE jumping."

Rockstar has released patch number five for the PC version of Grand Theft Auto IV. Here is a list of changes brought by the patch.

GENERAL:
Convert all region SKU's into the same SKU.
Include support for all languages within single exe.

CONTROLS:
Allow controls to be double mapped on keyboard.
Added option in controls menu to disable mouse controls in helicopters.
Adjust keyboard control sensitivity in hood cam view in vehicles.

MULTIPLAYER:
Security Updates to deter cheating in multiplayer.
Hosts can now immediately Kick users from their games in Lobby and in game via Cell phone without having to rely on peer voting.
Fixed a bug in Cops 'n Crooks mode where Host would drop out and prevent remaining players from leaving game.

The most interesting thing about the patch however is the fact that it makes the game list the five achievements from The Lost and Damned. This isn't a fluke on Microsoft's side either as if you go to the page for GTAIV PC, only the original achievements are listed. It's only in game that it reports the new ones. With this combined with the fact that TLAD bikes have been in the files of the PC version of GTAIV since release, we're going to go out on a limb and say that we should hear an announcement real soon regarding TLAD riding it's way to the PC.

Grand Theft Auto IV has broken more records throughout it's release than any other video game in history, and now it has another one to put under it's belt. The Lost and Damned, the first ever DLC for Grand Theft Auto IV, exclusive to Xbox 360, has beaten all previous DLC that have debuted on Xbox LIVE, eclipsing all of them in its first-day sales revenue. The DLC is also relatively more expensive compared to the past titles that have held the record. The Lost and Damned has also become the most reviewed Xbox LIVE download ever.

No statistics on the sales have been released as of yet, so it's hard to determine how much Rockstar has sold and profited with the DLC, but we can expect it to be rather large considering it's new Xbox LIVE record. Well done Rockstar Games, and well done everyone who purchased the DLC and helped it smash another record.

Last week we reported on how the GTA IV expansion pack 'The Lost and Damned' contained, for the first time in GTA history, full frontal nudity. At the time we said at the time that "and we don't doubt there will be some group yelling 'Think of the children!'", well it appears that has happened. Yesterday, Parental group Common Sense Media issued a public warning against The Lost and Damned, stating:

"The Lost and Damned is laden with mature content and should be kept away -- far away -- from children,"

They go on to say;

"It is even more controversial than its predecessors because this game has full frontal male nudity,"

The cutscene was discussed last week is mentioned, however being there is only one occurrence of full frontal nudity in the DLC, they fail to list anymore, which makes the entire warning rather lax. If the game contained numerous occurrence of both male and female full frontal nudity, then yes, perhaps the warning would seem a little more worth-while.

However, the warning aside, the Common Sense Media does say that the game is "a fun ride worth considering", that is as long as you are over the legal age to play the game, and not offended by male genitalia.
