Rockstar has released a heap of information and screenshots of both deathmatch and freemode multiplayer modes in Grand Theft Auto: The Ballad of Gay Tony.
Deathmatch:
New weapons: Pistol .44, Explosive Shotgun, Assault SMG, Gold SMG, Advanced MG, Advanced Sniper, Sticky Bombs and Parachute
Weapon Classes: Episodic, Automatic, Sniper Rifles, Explosives, Sticky Bombs.
Cash for Kills: Make $25 for every assist.
Locations: CC Plaza, Meadow Hills, Firefly Island, Alderney Building Site, Varsity Heights, Factory, Construction, Acter Power Station, Pier 45, Castle Gardens Park, Boat House, Easton Subway, Warehouse, Hospital, Waste, Trespass, Museum and more.

Rockstar has released 5 new screenshots for Grand Theft Auto: The Ballad of Gay Tony.
Rockstar has announced that this Friday, October 16th, the Listen@Home space in PlayStation Home will be dedicated to Beaterator. Some of the best tracks uploaded to Social Club will be featured for all to listen to. Creators of the selected tracks will be notified before the event. If your track doesn't get selected, don't be sad as Rockstar is planning on making this a monthly event so keep trying!

Rockstar has announced via today's Rockstar brodcast that the trailer for the PSP version of Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars will be releasing tomorrow. While it doesn't mention a specific time, we're betting that it will release at 1 PM EST.

Rockstar, IGN and MySpace have teamed up to create the Beaterator Music Challenge. The challenge consists of bands or musicians submitting their best non-Beaterator work. Rockstar will then choose up to 100 bands/musicians and give them a PSP, a copy of Beaterator and instructions on how to use Beaterator. They then have 14 days to complete and submit a song created with Beaterator. The song can be a new song or a remix of an existing track. Community votes from MySpace and IGN will make up 25% of the votes and the rest will be by Rockstar, IGN and MySpace. The winner will receive $5,000 and their track will be featured on the PlayStation Network. All bands/musicians have until October 11th to sign up.
