Rockstar management contracts renewed

Published at 12:36 PM PST

In a shocker announcement that was part of Take-Two's financial earnings reports, Take-Two has managed to re-up the contracts with Sam Houser, Dan Houser and North's Leslie Benzies who all hold key management and creative positions within Rockstar. Previously the contracts were set to expire in 2012. No new expiration date was given. T2 has also renewed it's management contract with ZelnickMedia, who have been running the company since 2007 when then CEO Paul Eibeler got the axe. The report also mentions future games to be released by Take-Two dating up to early 2013, however just like the last couple of reports, no upcoming Rockstar games are mentioned. Excluded games include both Agent and Max Payne 3 which have both been already announced.

EDIT: In a conference call held by Take-Two, CEO Strauss Zelnick has announced that Red Dead Redemption has sold over 8.5 million copies. Great job Rockstar San Diego!
