Three members from our sister site, GTAStunting, recently got togeather to create a stunting video with a cinematic touch. The video was directed and edited by Beat, who we've featured in the past for his stellar IVSA trailer and the impressive The Lamborghini Reventon video which were both created with the help of the built-in Grand Theft Auto IV video editor.  Titled "SHELLSHOCKED", this new video features some of Beat's best camerawork and editing yet with remarkable stunts performed by Daksad. The video also features a guest performance by Slayer. To anyone saying you can't pull off stellar stunts in Grand Theft Auto IV, I hope the performances by Daksad and Slayer change their mind because this video features some of the greatest IV stunts yet. You can view the video above on YouTube or hit the link below to go to the GTAStunting topic which has the video in a couple of different formats.

Recently, directors and editors have started to utilize Grand Theft Auto IV's video editor to create new levels of machinima that have not been seen until now. Last year, French filmmaker Mathieu Weschler released a full feature-length movie (coming in at 88 minutes) using IV's video editor and an external editor to add some new sounds, voices and effects. He invested two years of his life into what is, in my opinion, the best machinima movie ever created. Here's a bit of the backstory behind the video:

The "trashmaster" divides his time between collecting garbage and cleaning up other forms of trash fouling up New York City's streets: dealers, small-time criminals... When the dancers in his favourite strip club are mysteriously killed, the trashmaster finds himself hot on the trail of a particularly twisted serial killer.

Another video released utilizing the video editor is from GTAStunting's very own BeaT titled "The Lamborghini Reventon". While the video is short, it shows off the kind of high quality camera work you can pull off in the editor and the quality of the vehicle mods available for Grand Theft Auto IV. This is just the beginning for BeaT as he's currently working on a script for a full length movie to be created in Grand Theft Auto IV. The story is currently titled "Spectral" and will feature action, mystery and drama. He hopes to release it some time next year.
